InterAd Privacy Policy

This website (the “Site”) is hosted in the Republic of Korea by InterAd.
InterAd has implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security
in order to protect your personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.
Only authorized InterAd personnel are provided access to personally identifiable information,
and these employees are required to treat this information as confidential.
Despite these precautions, however, InterAd cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons
will not obtain access to your personally identifiable information.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you may disclose publicly in any chat rooms, message boards, or similar web pages. You should keep in mind that whenever you publicly disclose information about yourself online – for example, via message boards or chat rooms – that information could be collected and used by people whom you do not know. In addition, certain message boards and similar user forums may display IP addresses (as defined below) along with the message poster's name and message. Sponsor bears no responsibility for any action or policies of any third parties who collect any information users may disclose on the message boards, chat areas or other user forums, if any, on the Site.

Information Gathering and Dissemination

Information on general usage and personal details you provide to InterAd will be used to provide you with enhanced features such as customized content, access to special sections on our website and so on.

Personally Identifiable Information

Personally identifiable information is information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally (such as your name, address, birth date or e-mail address), which we refer to in this Privacy Policy as "PII." Generally, you may browse the Site without providing any PII. However, there may be times when we ask you to provide us with certain PII, such as when you choose to register with our Site and/or for newsletters or choose to participate in an online forum, contest, sweepstakes, survey or voting procedure. We may also ask you to provide us with demographic information or information regarding your interests, hobbies or similar information. We reserve the right, at any time, to add features to our Site that require you to register or otherwise provide PII, including credit card information, or to require registration to access our Site. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of or participate in some of the Site's features. We may combine the information we collect with information available from other sources, including information received from promotional partners or other third parties. The e-mail addresses you supply us for such activity will be used to send the requested e-mail and will not be used to send you or your friend any other e-mail communications.

PII from Children Under Thirteen (13) Years of Age

This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, do not submit any information about yourself to this Site. If we discover that a child under the age of 13 has provided the Site with PII, we will delete that child's PII from all InterAd systems.

Anonymous Information

When you visit the Site, our web servers automatically collect Site usage information. Site usage information is anonymous information that describes how our visitors use and navigate the Site, and it includes the number and frequency of visitors to each web page and the length of their stays. We collect the anonymous information automatically sent to us by your web browser, such as browser type, referrer data that identifies the web page visited prior and subsequent to visiting our Site, and IP address. We also may determine what technology is available through your browser in order to serve you the most appropriate version of a web page. For example, we may determine that you have installed a version of Flash, and we will then send you the appropriate Flash version of the web page rather than HTML page.

IP Addresses

An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer or network when you are on the Internet. When visitors request pages from our Site, our servers log the visitor's IP address. We may collect IP addresses for a variety of internal purposes, such as system administration, to report aggregate information to our business partners or to audit the number of visits to different pages on our Site. Please note that some services within our Site, such as certain message boards, may display IP addresses along with the message poster's name and message.

Log Files

We may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movements and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Unless otherwise indicated, this information is not shared with anyone outside of InterAd and/or its designated contractors. When shared with contractors, usage is for the purpose of analyzing user trends and demographics. No IP addresses will be shared with any third party other than for such research and reporting services for InterAd's internal use.

Cookies are information files that our Site may place on your computer to provide extended functionality and to personalize your Site experience. We may use cookies for a number of purposes. For example, we may use cookies to track usage patterns on the Site or to limit multiple responses to and registrations for a survey. We may also use cookies to record registration and personalization information, enabling you to save your user name and password. We do not store any PII in cookies, but we may link the cookies to any information we collect. You can, of course, disable cookies on your computer by indicating this in the preferences or options menus in your browser. However, it is possible that some parts of the Site will not operate correctly if you disable cookies. You should consult with your browser's provider/manufacturer if you have any questions regarding disabling cookies.

This web site may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that InterAd is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.

Our Site may offer various subscription services to registered users. Such services are fulfilled using provided PII information such as your name and email address. Users have the ability to opt-out of receiving subscriptions at any given time.

Our Clients

InterAd serves as an agent for each of its clients, in that we provide our services for the benefit of the client. Each of our clients uses our services to maximize their advertising campaigns. Each client instructs us as to what types of data it would like us to collect on its behalf. This data may include search engine referral and purchase behavior and information.
InterAd may track certain actions on clients' Web sites, including Web surfers visiting certain pages on the client's sites or taking specific actions. We use persistent cookies and clear GIFs to determine activity at the client's site. With respect to individuals who visit those sites as a result of clicking on a customer ad on search engines, our ad server will place or read a unique tracking cookie on the computer and will use non-personal information about the browser and activity at this site (such as a Web surfer's IP address, Web pages which have been viewed by a Web surfer, date and time) to track whether the referral results in a transaction, as defined by the customer.
